Freestyle day

Today I spent three hours learning freestyle 101 and what an eye opener.  I may never ski forward facing again as I really love skiing switch, fast!

All these new impressions and ideas will be part of our training on Saturday the 19th.  Looking forward to bringing to you, what has been brought to me.

the snow is falling in vail

It's this time of year when I get, well anxious...  I love all the seasons, there is no question about that.  I love golf, diving, hiking, rock climbing and those are activities you probably don't want to be doing when snow is falling and it's 20 degrees or less out.

But winter and snow, there is something that's just special about it and once it starts, I find it hard to not start thinking about strapping on a pair of skis and sliding down a mountain.  My dreams and ambitions shift from maste...

Ivan and the Dust on Crust team Ivan is a Vail ski instructor and Vail Development Team (DEVO) coach. He is a passionate skier, hiker, mt. climber, diver, golfer and overall citizen of the world. The Dust on Crust Team are a group of amazing young skiers from 9 - 12 years old who will ski together for 18 days this season. They will ski fast groomers, powder tree runs, drop cornices and cliffs, jump and ride features in the terrain park. They are some of the most amazing upcoming skiers on the mountain in Vail.
